Our story
FootAR started with a simple question: why does following a live match on a screen still mean reading numbers and a flat diagram? In 2020 the first prototype answered it with a small 3D stadium on a table, driven by match data.
Since then the same engine has grown into a live 3D match tracker for sportsbooks and media, apps for phones and headsets, and fan engagement formats used by Portuguese media and clubs. Part of our research was carried out within the eGames Lab mobilising agenda (2023–2026), and our team works from Startup Madeira at the Madeira Tecnopolo.
We build products, and work with partners to bring them into new settings. Football is where our technology proved itself; places, products and interactive experiences are where we are taking it next.
